Rust-Oleum Rust Dissolver quickly removes the toughest rust, letting you restore surfaces to like-new condition. Available in liquid, gel and jelly formulas, it offers versatile application options for every project. Rust-Oleum Rust Dissolver Jelly and Gel products cling to iron, steel and other metals to make rust removal convenient, fast and highly effective.IMPORTANT: Always test on an inconspicuous area first. For best results, apply in ambient temperature of 70°F or above. On metal, maintain a wet solution on the surface to remove rust. Once the rust is dissolved, rinse or wipe the surface and wait one hour or more before painting. Do not allow to dry on a painted surface. For improved paint adhesion on clean metal surfaces, dilute remover 50/50 with water, apply the solution and rinse or wipe the surface dry. To avoid flash rust, wipe the clean metal with a dry cloth or place in a warm, dry atmosphere. Do not use on marble.
